Very sad that youth soccer or any sport has become this cut throat. No wonder you have girls quitting the game as quickly as they start. If a player should be able to trust anyone, it should be their Coach...

If any of them still have a patch on their uniform, they better get it off before the first round of state cup! From the rules:
At every level of the National Championships competitions, each player, team and team official may only have on his/her/their apparel the name, logo, or other identifying mark of US Youth soccer or a member directly or indirectly of US Youth Soccer. A name, logo, or other identifying mark of any youth soccer organization other than US Youth Soccer or its member must be removed, replaced, or covered before a player, team or team official may enter or remain at a field complex where the National Championships competition is being held. After an initial warning pursuant to above, the name, logo, or other identifying mark of any youth soccer organization other than US Youth Soccer or its member must be removed before the player; team or team official may enter or continue in the competition.

Just don't get the hype if they have played the required number of games in the league with the team let the girls play. The best team will win state cup anyway. Let the rosters get submitted then let them play. The idea behind the competition is to bring the best together to determine the winner. Don't see a U13 or U14 at least signing a college scholarship from state cup.

Sure some of these kids may have played at other clubs before (in fact a bunch of them have hopped from club to club with each other) but they are all rostered to this Creeks team not other clubs. And the team qualifies bit the player. . There aren't any rules about the number of games a player has to play with the team to qualify for that team's state cup roster.
