Pfizer expects to provide more than 13 million doses of its two-shot vaccine per week to the U.S. by mid-March, more than double the weekly number of doses the company was sending earlier this month, Pfizer Chief Business Officer John Young said in written testimony. The testimony was released ahead of a hearing before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Young also said Pfizer is on track to deliver 120 million doses by the end of March, with an additional 80 million doses to go out by the end of May.

Moderna President Dr. Stephen Hoge said his company is similarly working to double its shipments to the U.S. by April, according to Hoge’s prepared testimony. Moderna hopes to deliver 40 million doses per month, roughly double the current pace, he said.

“Since the end of 2020, we have doubled our monthly deliveries to the U.S. government, and we are working to double them again by April to more than 40 million doses per month,” Hoge said. “As we work to meet these goals, we are continually learning and working closely with our partners and the federal government to identify ways to address bottlenecks and accelerate our production.”

ah huh, wow so how you explain the nearly 100,000 deaths in bidens first month (with the vaccine)? should i wait for your answer?

at this same rate under biden he will have about 1 million deaths in 10 months.
so you understand the perspective, TRUMP had about 400k deaths in about 10 months (without the vaccine).

Cases and deaths are dropping like a stone - averaging now 2K a day vs Trump's 3-3.5k/day when he left office. With the elderly a top priority many of the nation's most vulnerable have been vaccinated with at least one dose. Manufacturers just announced a massive increase in supply over the next 4-6 weeks. Cases, hospitalizations and deaths will continue to fall.

Patients with Covid most often linger for weeks before they either improve or die. Many of those lost the first few weeks of Biden's presidency were sick under Trump. Really Trump's is a good 425K or so or more (10 days at 3K/day), at least until Feb 1 as an easy cutoff.

Wow, you are so incredibly dense. But, you are a Trumpie after all...

As an exercise... Let’s pretend that the pandemic hadn’t occurred while Trump was in office. Let’s say that it started on Jan. 20th, 2021, the day Biden was sworn into office. So, a little more than a month ago.

In this scenario, how many Americans do you think would have died since the 20th? You seem to think it would be 100,000.

I’m not going any further with this exercise. If you have an IQ above 70 you should understand the point. I’m pretty sure you don’t understand.

He doesn't understand and he never will. In his world Biden should have eradicated the virus by January 21.

Trump lights a match on January 19, the bomb explodes that dat and this idiot would blame Biden for those in the hospital that died on January 21 from the blast. This is how these cons think. No logic.

            You both need to understand the science, here's what's happened world wide since covid started and the current conditions;

            Active Cases
            21,875,612
            Currently Infected Patients
            21,783,752 (99.6%) in Mild Condition
            91,860 (0.4%) Serious or Critical
Think of this for a minute, 99.6% have mild conditions!

            Closed Cases
            91,209,240
Cases which had an outcome: 88,701,472 (97%)
            Recovered / Discharged 2,507,768 (3%) Deaths;
Mostly elderly with underlying conditions and to put this in perspective, in a normal year 60 million people die world wide.

I'm not saying "it's just a runny nose" but I think the cure is much worse the the virus. Kids out of school, people losing they're business's, suicides are up as well as opiod deaths. So who are we trying to save?

here is some very simple logic for you. TRUMP gifted biden with the vaccine.
Liberals (inluding dr. fauchi) cried, bitched, and complained a vaccine will not be available for another 2 years. TRUMP proved all you wrong. we had it by CHRISTMAS!

If the roles were reversed we would not have a vaccine today as all you libbys have said (because you speak the truth right? 2 more years right?)

all you libbys (including biden and schumer) should be blowing Trump right now.

If the world had taken no action estimates are that 40,000,000 people worldwide would have died from the pandemic. That translates to several million ... ~7 - 8 million Americans.

                That puts things in perspective.

If NY and FL were separate countries FL did comparatively better.
And never really sacrificed their economy to do it.

Across the board on average states with a republican gov faired better than states with a democrap gov.

Take out the top few NE states that got hammered very early with covid - and also happen to be densely populated - and that statement doesn't quite hold up. Many red states are in the top 20 of deaths per capita. Even CA, with all its mistakes, are well down the list per capita. CA looks terrible because of its sheer population size.

and why the media blackout on ny gov cuomo falsifying death counts that we know all along? its ok because hes a dem and a gov?

NE states had no idea how bad it had gotten because of lack of testing/phuck ups from the government in the first several weeks. I'm not saying mistakes weren't made, there were, but it doesn't tell the whole story. Looking at more recent data those states are doing well with Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths. Thankfully much of the country is doing well.

Not a Cuomo fan regardless of whether or not he lied, but singling him out all the time as the poster child for all Democrats is tiresome. Find some new material.

Media blackout? Here's three left-leaning sources right here

Cuomo hid covid-19 data. But it was worse than just a coverup.

The Cuomo administration for months dramatically underreported the number of COVID-19 deaths in New York among long-term care residents.
