Here is the problem with youth soccer. Coaches acts like they owns the kids and it is his or her team. Are they doing whats best for the kids or whats best for them? No need to answer that question it has always been about coaches ego. This is not a shot at the new "CFK" in general as it happens everywhere. If your wondering if it will hurt the kids chances to play DA or ECNL if they leave, of course it will. The kids are always the ones that get hurt. For once I would like to see a coach do whats best for the kids and not whats best for them.

Not going to happen until the egos are put aside with the coaches and the parents.
What is happening is nothing new and happens all the time.
After all it is only a game.

There is no "New CFK". This thread was started as a misdirection. There may well be some coaches leaving OCYS- but that wouldn't be "news" anywhere else.

agreed- the old guard coaches think they "own" a team. Smart players learned years ago to act like free agents rather than travel in packs.

Your funny. Do you actually think that by saying it is not true that "it is not true"? Someone tries to give everyone a heads up and you feel compelled to discredit them. Why don't you ask the OC board if this is true before coming on her and talking trash. Also, while you are talking with them, ask them if they are on probation with ECNL and what they feel is their odds of keeping it next year. For heavens sake, get your head out of the sand.

Help me get my head out of the sand.

Where are the secured fields? This is the third time asking.
Why is Orlando City on probation? It seems like they've fulfilled everything.
What coaches have committed to leaving?

                Countdown

With only 56 days until tryouts it is time to for the CFKrazies to come forward with facts.

                (Insert cricket noise here.)

Sorry, for now it's a BIG secret.

They're waiting until the last possible minute before tryouts to make an official announcement (devoid of any details). That way, players/families in central Florida will (once again) be faced with making relatively uninformed decisions.

This thread is simply an attempt to deflect attention from the actual problems in central Florida. It allows a troll to bait the gullible into speculating about something that ain't gonna happen.

Sorry, but anybody who swallows this nonsense about a "New CFK" is simply being led by the nose. As for the "Big Secret"- hell this is youth soccer. You couldn't keep a secret that big under any circumstances.

Ditto the ECNL at OC- that club has so many enemies, there's absolutely no way "probation" could be kept quiet. NO WAY.

Ask parents of ECNL kids if they received notice of probation. Also maybe a reason for keeping certain details private for the moment is to prevent backlash from OCYS before season is officially over. Regardless none of this matters as we all want to believe what we want to believe so guess we have to wait till May and see what is truth and what is fiction.

You really think with all the angry ECNL parents at the club, they would keep a "notice of probAtion" secret? You're out of your mind. I'm not saying the program has been well-run, and Lord knows I'm no apologist for the Directorship. But even a hint of disapproval from ECNL HQ would have already been news spread like wildfire. You simply couldn't contain it.

I guess "swallowing the nonsense about OCYS" is also simply being led by the nose. The biggest secret in Central Florida soccer, is what is OCYS going to do to make it's current players want to stay?

Boys or Girls? Two different answers: "Anything" and "nothing at all".

Whose name is on the field lease at Central Winds, OC or old CFK? If those will remain OC fields, then it's going to be tough for CFK to find a home.

Now that there is a great question. Someone's head isn't in the sand. Maybe someone from OC can tell us if "they" have secured the fields and if the contract is in "their" name.
