Agree 100%. Sometimes you gotta take a bumpy detour to get where you really want to be.
State Cup not a big deal.

The age of the player is really the crucial factor in what decision you need to make. The options for a U10 player is completely different than for a U15 player.

Technically, you could play for both teams simultaneously, but that would be a super hassle.

Good luck! Tough decision to make, but it must be serious enough to do it now and not in the summer.
        Is this true?

That you could be rostered on both a US Club and FYSA team at the same time? Yes, it's true. It may be almost impossible from a practical standpoint to play and practice for two teams that will have conflicting games, practices, etc, but they are different organizations so the laws and rules of one has no impact on the other.

Truly true. Does not violate the "no poaching" rule due to different associations. Just
follow the money and everything will be ok. I had my kid go to practices during the
season to tryout other teams. DO NOT TELL ANYONE. Tell your kid to never talk about
            fight club.

Yes basically coaching/team is way bellow what we were used to. my son is loosing the interest . where as before he has very proud and serious about the game he now sometimes does not even care about going to play.... I am very "lazy" to make the move since it probably means money and time drag but I feel I can not just ignore a clear problem.
The coaching/team is way below what you were used to?

Why did you not stay with your previous team?

Not the OP but this year saw much more movement due to the age change. Sometimes teams dissolved or got much weaker because of bad luck with birthdays. Parents do club hop too often, and not always for the right reasons. But sometimes they are the right reasons.

In most cases, the age groups did in fact change because of birth years, but don't use that as an excuse. Coach them better!

Change teams if you really feel it's the best for your kid and move on
