I think this poster is a jealous teammate who needs to focus more on school, grammar and spelling in particular.

"Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard"
Don't underestimate how much hard work influences coaches even it they are not great players. I have seen some very talented players (fantastic foot skills) who don't make it because they are arrogant, and lazy.
Sometimes you get both; hard work and talent. However, hard work is what will make talent great.

You just posted my exact thoughts. Congrats Dad and player. Brandeis is a great school. Be loud and proud.

I think you are confusing the NEFC squad with the MPS Bulldogs.

Not confusing anything. There used to be a lot of chatter about the great players on the NEFC team and predictions of D1 glory, and even within past week or so there have been fresh comments about how a good number of NEFC kids turned down DAP to stay with EK and NEFC.

JO played the bulk of his club soccer with Valeo, just moving on to Blazers last year and playing a year up. Congrats to him.

Umm...doubt it. In this age group, NEFC has actually won a state championship. Bulldogs still haven't.

OP here. I'm going though your list and have 6 already on this thread's list. Quite a few of the others are CT, NY, Ghana, etc. kids. I haven't finished yet.
