Its amazing to me how there are still girls players left at Boca united DA. Those parents have to have brain damage to not get their kids placed at another club team by now before its too late for next year. How could any parent commit their daughter to a team up there when they can see how bad those teams are this year and its one going to be worse next year when the DA adds a whole age group. Those Boca parents are really something.

Go to weston if you want to play soccer. Sine the Davie 03 , 02 squad moved on last year Westin GDA is a joke. BU torched Weston U18 and U17s. You guys are a joke with your propaganda. We run Florida I’m both age groups w exception of USA In 18 s and IMG im the 17s . Go play at your local club or go to Weston everyone else’s does. Go look at the results.

OK so no BS, this is a serious question. When does US Soccer officially announce what DA's will remain for next year? Because how or why would any parent pay Boca SFFA anything in advance or even commit their daughter to next year without having official word from US Soccer that Boca will remain as a DA? Forget all the bashing on here, It doesn't take a genius to see how weak teams are and how they desperately need more players to even field teams? Obviously not one player would stay at Boca United's travel club if they aren't DA so how could anyone commit to next year when they could potentially find out after all of the other club tryouts that Boca doesn't have DA next year? Even going to a tryout doesn't help because you may see players there but that doesn't mean they are committing to play on the team and you can't trust EE or Boca staff so how could any player take a chance when they could end up without a team to play on next year?

Boca DA cannot survive because nobody can answer this question logically. Boca can't field teams to stay as a DA and even if they could they would be so bad that for any good player to go there would be absurd. You Boca parents need to wake up and realize you're not really a DA just because your kid has a patch. Its a sin how badly you parent.

You are correct. Without a decent base of local male players, it will be a struggle for SFFA in the DA. IMO, there are enough quality boys in the area to keep things moving, and SFFA are able to create teams that can keep their heads above water. The boy’s teams will continue to survive, but just only survive. The difference between the three DA programs, Weston and Kendall, isn’t really that great. Weston are the top DA, but none of the three have quality standards, and all three could be so much better, especially SFFA, which have zero standards.

The girl’s teams at SFFA also lack a local base, but there isn’t much to fill those gaps. Sure, SFFA sponsor girl’s teams, but the teams are low level, and not worthy of being in the GDA. However, there are many other clubs nationally struggling with the same problem in the GDA. As shocking as SFFA are on the girls-side, they aren’t even the worst GDA in Florida let alone the GDA. Contrary to posters on this TS thread, SFFA are not in jeopardy of having GDA pulled. I get they will have a tough time having decent rosters but there will always be players. There are worse fires in the GDA right now. The big concern in the GDA is not getting rid of the poorly performing clubs, but is how to keep the better clubs from leaving. They have lost good clubs this year and others are considering exits. The GDA is failing in most places in the US.

Thousands of threads complaining for years about the quality and standards of SFFA/BU on this site. No doubt club leaders at BU, TB, Boynton, CSU and Delray listen. But I guess there isn’t a reason for them to make changes. As stated many times, BU and TB need to merge. After a merger new leadership is needed at the travel level, especially with DA/ECNL programs. Boca Raton could easily provide a quality place for players of ALL levels. SABR is an strong program and DA/ECNL could be equally as good. DA/ECNL and USYS travel are ALL possible at a united club in Boca Raton.

Or…..just let it be, as it seems the leadership of all these clubs are content with. The leadership at both clubs is a dead weight. Change is needed.

i’ve been to your league da games and you don’t have one single college coach at them because coaches know that your teams are such a low level it’s embarrassing. On the other hand you obviously haven’t been at sunrise national league games because if you were you would know there are a ton of college coaches come out to see a team full of college level players. You boca untited parents are really lost souls. I feel bad for your kids i really do. Hopefully us soccer will finally wake up and take away da badge from you this year and then your kids can come and play for our second team where they belong.

You are out of your mind. If the Team Boca DOC ever merged with Boca United he should be taken to the highest bridge and thrown off it. That would be a horrific and brain dead move. Boca united is an absolute disaster. They are a rec club with rec level players all wearing a DA patch. Any parent that goes there deserves to have their kid lost forever and never play college soccer. It will be the parents fault if they bring their kid there. Two college recruited players this year from a DA!!!! OMG thats ridiculous! They have other worthy college players but they have no ability to ever look competitive playing with half the team with rec players. Shame on their parents for making that decision to go there. What a ridiculous joke.
