European coaches isn't always the path. Ash Orlando City how it went with the Brits they brought in. Bring in good coaches with a proven track record. South American, American, European or wherever, just as long as they work hard for the kids. Also, the location is a pretty good one.

Is there anywhere online where one can view the proposed plans?

Becks may hang in South Beach a bit, but he’s not going to be around much. Business play.

This is not what being reported. Read that he will be very involved. Loves the area and enjoys training youth players. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him

$400Millionaires do not train youth players. Marketing, maybe a demo Clinic, other demos by ex-professional friends, etc.... Just enjoy the ride.

My hope is that Beckham gives the boys a real Sir Alex speech and no beating around the bush. Beckham put in his time and work on the pitch and he knows what it will take for these boys to develop into professionals.

i think for the first couple years your cynicism will be proven wrong. Long term you may be right. but it will be done correctly at least for the first couple of years. not because they care, but because it is good business and fosters positive community relations and press to get the academy up and running correctly.
