This all sounds reasonable...except that the youth club operates in the red. There should be plenty of numbers and fees in the OC youth club to be in the black. If you count the funded DA and partially funded GDA, then I can see the overall numbers dipping red I guess, possibly.

Now if there was some fancy accounting moving youth club profits over toward pro teams ledger...not sure that happened, but it's been therorized here....that would make this youth club look much less profitable.

FKK needs to expand in order to accept all the youth players from OC when they close their doors.

Roughly 6 years ago CFK ( Central Florida Kraze-Krush ) was a thriving club with membership of over 2300 kids they had affiliations in ECNL for girls and had just earned DA with US Soccer for the boys program and they worked that arrangement with Rush who at the time had a solid boys program. FSA came knocking on the door of CFK, FSA was the club operating at Seminole soccer complex. FSA was faltering badly. Low membership and poor direction and no money. FSA was week to week on cash flow and coaches, directors starting to get nervous. OC USL pro owner saw this as a perfect angle to try to take control of Seminole soccer complex as his main hub and asked CFK to join in the effort. The rest is history but history often repeats itself. If you look at OC now they are a little fatter FSA from 6 years ago.

OC has now shedded the following programming and instructure

1-USL Pro
2-PDL U23s
3-Boys DA now controlled by Mount V academy
4-Membership is down at the youth club by 25%
5-Girls DA is in trouble with DA staff looking for options elsewhere
6-OC lost principal founder in PR. You can say what you want about this man but end of day gave structure to club

Also OC Pro soccer side of the club via PR made good deals with Cities and Counties that benefited the Pro side and has hurt the youth fiscal side of the club. The MLS logo issue is bigger then anyone is talking about. This could SINK OCYS!!!!!!

Clubs around OC are prospering and growing, FKK the old CFK regrouped and now has a club base of well over 1500 kids and growing YOY.
FKK has Both ECNL for Boys and Girls
FKK helps promote kids to colleges around the country and FKK has a robust College ID Program with both directors well respected by college coaches.

By the way how can OCYS grow? To the North of OC and Seminole Soccer complex is FESA. FESA has merged it’s way down 95 and I-4 and now OCYS is squeezed between FESA and FKK.

FESA and FKK began this plan 4 years ago when HM brought his pal and life long friend to Jacksonville.

OC has burned bridges with Bad deals and dealings with clubs all around them.
They tried to bury each of the clubs below.

Let’s HOPE the 5 clubs ( FKK, Rush, GPS, Space Coast and South Orlando ) do not make the same mistakes they made that almost cost them their clubs. Stay away from these OC club guys. They come in sheeps clothes with a smile but are really wolves looking to pillage.

The common denominator between FSA and OCYS ..... GB and CM . They are good guys but played too much politics and made it too obvious. Only Parents that sucked up to them benefited (well at least they thought so). Saw too many better players get ignored so they can play their favorites. It wasn’t even worth playing for ocys anymore so players just stayed far away. Good luck to those few players that really should be there.
