About 50/50 US to international, with most US from CA. The school is a big supporter, and ratio is 40% white, 30% Hispanic, 20% Asian as primaries, typical for SoCal. They put circa 16000 in the stands back when they were a college cup team. And now let's hear about a comparable women's college team?

Not only did they not qualify for the World Cup but now the whole federation is leaderless so change will take years to make so things will get worse before they gets better. The women’s program is not in such a state of chaos. They have had fairly stable leadership and generally have a better quality of player on their team and in the pipeline so it will weather the storm better. The men’s team is not nearly as stable. It will take decades to recover from the Klingsman era and any new thinking that might improve the situation will take at least a decade to provide any help. As it stands now, no one wants American trained male soccer players which is why you read about all our promising young prospects leaving for foreign clubs once they hit middle school. The fact that few of them are popping up as future stars with those international clubs speaks volumes abouthow far off the pace even our best and brightest males are. Even the best soccer trainers in the world aren’t having much luck with them.
They are runby the same people. The women are NOT in a good state.

Men's average attendance is higher in all 3 divisions for every year ncaa has tracked attendance. Truth hurts I know

The best thing about our Women's program is that there is no meaningful competition anywhere else. In the World Cup, many of the competing teams include girls who play in US colleges, or in our NWSL. This is the only place it is really happening. If the WNT wants to see how they really stack up, they play a U17 Boys DAP team, who routinely crushes them.

Actually, it was a boys u15 team last time. So, lost to 14 year olds.

This all started with dads of soccer girls crapping on the boys. They don't think it is a man's game, so they disparage them. Then comes the inevitable retaliation. Stupid really. Great sport for both. Merry 🎄.

yup. I have nothing else to add.

Wait, one more thing, boys who play soccer are 2nd tier, unless they also play hockey or lacrosse.

Yup, boys need those latter sports to load up on CTE.

Since there are never concussions in soccer.

I think you’ve had one too many yourself.

                          Merry Christmas.

Many parents of girls who play soccer never played themselves and so don't know how fast real men's soccer is compared to women's soccer. Not taking anything away from the girls side, as my daughter loves the sport, but professional men's soccer is a whole different animal
