if the dallas forward could actually get one of the three clear chances into the goal, it would be different game. univision should be ashamed of protecting the usa teams,
why you group europe teams in one group, why send your best team to tournament like that. is univision run byWeston?
the level of soccer between weston and dallas compared to man city and fluminense were miles away

Come on Man, "miles away", these a 11 and 12 year old kids, very doubtful that they are miles away at that age. I have seen many big club european teams face off against the same younger age clubs and the US teams fair quite well. At that age a lot of a good team is whether you have big, strong athletes, that, the US has in abundance. The separation from the US player to the European player happens later on when the 16 and 17 year old kids in Europe go play pro ball and the US player is still playing DA and then College.

You clearly did not see Manchester or Fluminense. The number 10 from flu is a beast. The Fluminense kids are selected from a pool of thousands of kids from Rio, they play all year against other professional clubs in rio which more than 10 clubs. Fluminense academy developed Marcelo from Real Madrid, Tiago silva from PSG, Branco from 1994 Brazil world champion team.
Those kids don't pay $3,000 to play soccer, they get free stuff to play soccer. Hiding American teams from european clubs in a tournament is a joke, the tournament should be open field. The top four would be Chivas Mexico, Manchester, Fluminense and Real madrid

Let's get real. Academies, here or any country, just provide the finishing touches. They may be able to mold a professional player through hard work, but kids must have the goods from birth. Athleticism plus intelligence plus hard work plus passion. It doesn't matter if it's in a fabella in Brasil or a back yard in Weston.

So much jealousy and bitterness, the truth is these kids earned it, lucky or not they are playing the finals , as a parent I would love to see my kid play in the big stage even if it was a rec team.
                  Congrats weston boys!

first game of rec usa soccer versus real pro soccer is done. Dallas never saw the ball. 3x0 was a low score for the level of fluminense.number 10 from fluminense is amazing he put the dallas players to dance
probably univision needs to change the format if the usa wants to improve they need to face the best and quit this national bracket to protect usa teams. Fluminense was the best team in the tournament

Great to see USA team in the ‘final’.

Separate brackets for USA teams is just a ratings ploy by Univision.

argentina, brazil, Colombia, and chile (that I know of) have their youth academies linked to their pro teams, while probably 10 of the 30 kids will get their meals and housing taken care of (nothing special) most of the other kids pay... not a lot but they pay

times have changed from when they got a bare foot kid off the street and brought him in....

the system is a whole lot better than ours, since the club is trying to find the diamond in the rough and sell the diamond to a European club and cash in, but don't think for a second that most players aren't paying.

mine never played there, but you are right , probably would have paid.

                          merry christmas

System is better if you don't mind your 13 year old dropping out of school... and hope that he is one of the 2% that make a career out of soccer. the rest of the 98% is one of the many causes that generates the vast unemployment and poverty in latin america

Weston and MLS academies cannot compete against those boys. fluminense kep gustavo the best player on the bench not to humiliate Dallas FC
Weston stop charging a lot of money for soccer, athletic poor kids will gravitate to basketball and football because soccer is for rich people and soccer at Weston is for billionaires
