That's pretty inexcusable. If anything the starters need to rest, let alone subbing in a few players now and then isn't going to hurt the team if managed correctly.

Everything that is wrong with youth soccer. Club is 100% to blame. The DOC has dropped the ball and these kids suffer with a terrible coach.

But their 8th grade, 2nd team players are being recruited by multiple Division 1 coaches. Totally believable, right?

That conversation was different regarding a U14 team with few subs that aren't even being played (quote below). That is pathetic the coach should be canned.

"What about age u14 average team. 3 subs on bench, 2 dont play at all during a tough game. Isnt it the coach at that point."

But yea, the 8th grade B team player not so much. The dad probably thinks that getting all those mass mail "invites" means lots of coaches are interested in his kid
