There was good soccer played by both side for certain periods of the game. But these players shouldn't be judge 3 games into a season. They will develop and get better thru the year on both side.
You have to understand its a development academy. Key word here is development. Results are irrelevant they aren't paid athletes these kids are learning the game. The only person getting paid is the coach so any issue you have should be address to the coach.
IMG and Braden River will be light years ahead in 6 months - looks like the trajectory for WFF is going down and Up for Braden River and IMG - anyone from WFF that walks away thinking they had a good game day against any of the braden River/IMG teams is delusional. AND it's only 3 weeks into a 10 month season - this conversation is ridiculous... Get a grip folks - The WFF will be lucky if they win any more games unless they figure out how to pull it together...
Think about it. WFF was an ECNL club for several years - they should have the program, coaches, and development figured out, yet IMG and Braden River walk in there with 2 weeks of training and did very well... How anyone from WFF could look at that and think they're in good shape is really kinda shocking

Question remains, how come the 05 and 04''s on that older IMG team did not make the 04 GDA team? They must be very good since they are playing up that many years?
From what I have heard, there was no new tryout for that 04 "Braden River" team when they were offered to play for IMG at that GDA spot? (it was for the younger boys but not the girls?)
You get to play in a DA spot (U14 for IMG) but you refuse to have a tryout to get new better girls on the team???????

And for the record I doubt WFF will win another game either

Why don't you do the same invest the time needed outside of practice and learn how to help your child understand the overall game technical, tactical, individual skills individual defending etc. Easier to say how bad players are.
The IMG program is phenomenal and for a kid to have access to that program from a DA perspective is amazing. They will develop the kids... no question. They have the best of everything coaches, program, etc.
By U16 the results show for themselves... U14 and U15 develop, develop, develop -

Now they still train at Braden River, with a coach from Braden River.
That GDA team has nothing to do with IMG except for playing under their name.

And if it was so great, how come there are several players on that team already talking about leaving north for next season? But I am sure you knew this already?

And when Braden River beats the WFF U14s next time they play (even though gauging development on wins and losses is silly but that seems to be all you understand), are you finally going to realize that Braden River can develop players just as good as any other club given the opportunity? When a large portion of those players play for IMG next year, supplemented by more recruits for years to come, the program will evolve and be a great choice for many kids. Crazy that people can't see this, but that's ok... U16 results will speak for themselves
So much small mindedness on this forum UGH
