I don't believe that. 1 player against 11 WFF players? Yeah ok. I'm pretty sure IMG players had something to do with the results of those goals.

There was good soccer played by both side for certain periods of the game. But these players shouldn't be judge 3 games into a season. They will develop and get better thru the year on both side.

You have to understand its a development academy. Key word here is development. Results are irrelevant they aren't paid athletes these kids are learning the game. The only person getting paid is the coach so any issue you have should be address to the coach.
I laugh so hard at the silly banter by a few folks here that don't understand what a DA is supposed to be... Absolutely clueless... DEVELOPMENT

IMG and Braden River will be light years ahead in 6 months - looks like the trajectory for WFF is going down and Up for Braden River and IMG - anyone from WFF that walks away thinking they had a good game day against any of the braden River/IMG teams is delusional. AND it's only 3 weeks into a 10 month season - this conversation is ridiculous... Get a grip folks - The WFF will be lucky if they win any more games unless they figure out how to pull it together...

Think about it. WFF was an ECNL club for several years - they should have the program, coaches, and development figured out, yet IMG and Braden River walk in there with 2 weeks of training and did very well... How anyone from WFF could look at that and think they're in good shape is really kinda shocking

Question remains, how come the 05 and 04''s on that older IMG team did not make the 04 GDA team? They must be very good since they are playing up that many years?

From what I have heard, there was no new tryout for that 04 "Braden River" team when they were offered to play for IMG at that GDA spot? (it was for the younger boys but not the girls?)
You will never get an answer to this since everyone involved knows how strange this was.
You get to play in a DA spot (U14 for IMG) but you refuse to have a tryout to get new better girls on the team???????

Let's see how many games IMG U15 and Braden River u14 wins this season. If they win one game, I will be shocked.

Again - it's about development - The IMG and Braden River teans will develop - the wins don't mean much... You are missing the point... There is no way a team that was just put together that has younger players should be remotely competitive with a team that was slated for ECNL at the WFF, but they were... I know it might be hard to admit...

And for the record I doubt WFF will win another game either

The Braden River team wasn't 'just put together' as you state. That's why they were brought in, because they've been together a while with decent success.

Please don't waste your time with people that don't understand the true meaning of development. When you develop players the results take care of itself. These people that come on here an think U14 U15 players are supposed to have it figured out are ridiculous. They are learning the game. Why don't you do the same invest the time needed outside of practice and learn how to help your child understand the overall game technical, tactical, individual skills individual defending etc. Easier to say how bad players are.

Agreed... Time for the DA folks to take a reality pill... especially the WFF folks...

The IMG program is phenomenal and for a kid to have access to that program from a DA perspective is amazing. They will develop the kids... no question. They have the best of everything coaches, program, etc.

By U16 the results show for themselves... U14 and U15 develop, develop, develop -

But the score at half was 2-1 WFF. So you are saying the better players that played the 1st half actually played worst then their replacements that came on in the 2nd half. You sound dumb.

It would be great if Braden River would let their U14 take advantage of it.
Now they still train at Braden River, with a coach from Braden River.
That GDA team has nothing to do with IMG except for playing under their name.

                        Correct!!
And if it was so great, how come there are several players on that team already talking about leaving north for next season? But I am sure you knew this already?

Ridiculous! The season is 3 weeks in, that kinda thing isn't happening... if it is, check the player or parents attitude to find the issue.

And when Braden River beats the WFF U14s next time they play (even though gauging development on wins and losses is silly but that seems to be all you understand), are you finally going to realize that Braden River can develop players just as good as any other club given the opportunity? When a large portion of those players play for IMG next year, supplemented by more recruits for years to come, the program will evolve and be a great choice for many kids. Crazy that people can't see this, but that's ok... U16 results will speak for themselves

So much small mindedness on this forum UGH

I'm interested to see what the large portion truly turns into. Doesn't IMG require residency for the high school ages?

This really isn't as much about Braden River being good (because they aren't at this moment in time) as it is about wff being out fitnessed and out team played by Braden River (ie: better coaching, more disciplined girls). The level of speed (slow) and sloppiness of wff was shockingly bad. Braden River may not win another game all year, no big deal either. They will get better by leaps and bounds though over flames, and they will very easily humiliate your program by probably a 5-0 score though the next time they see you.
