I call BS.
Two schools in ATL (St Pius X & Westminster) are in the Top 5 nationally.
Add to that the long soccer history associated with the schools in Cobb, Fayette & Gwinnett Counties, as well as the migration of the population into north Fulton (Alpharetta, John's Creek & Roswell). Add to that the Forsyth County, as well.
So yes, HS soccer is very, very important in the Atlanta area.

Thread summary: TBU wants what WFF has (GDA).
Otherwise this thread would not exist. Don't see any threads dedicated to bashing TBU and ECNL.

Personally I don't care if this club or that club might be better. They will all be competitive enough and as long as my daughter is able to enjoy and follow her dream with soccer is what matters. Not who left. I don't know the older girls as well but with the 03 and 04 age the few that are gone some were good but far from impact players, like most replaceable. But either way the players that are still there matter more than the one that are gone

Remains to be seen how the GDA teams at WFF will do but they all want to be there and are committed to training hard and getting better. For myself that is what youth sports are all about.

The defense is solid, the midfield is about the same and we have 2 scorers up top now. Last year's team wasn't bad, minus the ability to score. This year's team resolved that problem. So far they have won all of their scrimmages, including easily handling the 04 Boys Team, 3-1. They lost 3-4 quality girls and replaced them with 90-95% replacements, that gel better as a team. They also have a coach that is building quality out of the girls, instead of tearing them down. I am not saying they will be dominant, but they will be fine.
