Bolts kids who go on to Divison 1 schools go for reasons outside of soccer entirely. First of all they all live in affluent communities and have the financial means to buy all sorts of opportunities which advance their "academic resumes." This would include attending the top high schools in the state, or better yet top notch prep schools. They can buy private tutors, exotic summer extension programs, SAT prep classes, personal trainers, and whatever advantages can be bought. When they get into to D1 colleges it's just a natural progression from one privelaged activity to another and has no reflection on Bolts academy program one way or another.
