    USA vs Chile

What a dreadful game. The USA played against 2nd stringers and they have trouble moving the ball. It was painful to watch and the fact that against a 2nd stringers they passed the ball to the Chileans more than themselves. What a shame. Get rid of Bradley and any players over the ages of 28. Lets focus our attention on younger players so hopefully when the 2018 WorldCup comes around we have a descent chance of competing.

Relax, first game of 2015, many new faces, different system. We played experimented with new things like Jermaine Jones at center back in a 3-5-2 (which didn't work). Many of these players haven't played competitively since MLS ended so there was rust, regardless of the 2 weeks prior training, and fitness levels aren't ideal. Of course I believe we should have won, but it's a place to start, let's see where Klinnsman goes from here and let's reserve judgement until late spring early summer.

Just glad we get away with a 2-3 loss. Could have been worse. Not a good sign moving forward.

The passing was horrendous if you watched the match.

I can say the future does not look good for the USA. No maestro in the midfield to control/create tempo. Bradley is not the answer and I don't see anyone in the horizon.

They played well in the 1st half. Second half was mostly Chile in attack mode. Bradley and Jones in 2nd half totally fizzled. Lee Nguyen showed well but his performance was stymied by Bradley and Jones. Defense is second half terrible.

Personally not a fan of Bradley. He gives the ball away and is inconsistent.

When you lose the ball high in the middle as often as the USA have, it is merely impossible to defend against a counterattack when you don't have the numbers. Yes, I agreed the U.S. defenses were confused at time and never man mark or stay in their shape. However, it does not help if your mids keep losing balls or cannot retend possessions in the middle of the field.

Altidore was absolute rubbish. Gave the ball away several times on 5-10 ft passes. Lazy as well.
very disturbing considering millions of dollars spent and "expert" coaching at all levels. Will not need shades for the future as prospects are dim.

Time to push Bradley aside. He will be 30 by the time of the next World Cup and playing in the MLS for the next three years will not get him ready to lead us anywhere

He put the ball in the back of the net. His strike was class

He plays much better in a two forward system .. He did what all forwards are paid to do, score

He was the least of our issues. For someone who hasn't played or scored in forever, he did a fine job

Mid field and defense were the problem not the forwards.

You really need to watch some non MLS soccer games

                          Ok Skippy ..

Regardless of whether you think it was class, it still counted as a goal.

That's his role so focus on someone else

And we wonder why the US will never be a soccer power?

Don't be a soccer snob. He scored. He did his job. It doesn't matter how pretty or whether. All goals count the same. So save your snobbery for someone who cares

Focus on the defense and midfield. If you want to know why we will never be a soccer power, it's because we can't produce any creative midfielders. We got domimated in midfield
