Except that 1) not all of them will be the top players (they'll miss plenty and some might not be interested at that age 2) many will come and go as player mature, grow, etc. What will happen is plenty of kids who start U12 will not be in the system by U15-16.

I hope my kid makes the Revs so I can stop overpaying for soccer.
He definitely seems nervous about something. Maybe losing some of his top talent to DAP?

Sorry but doubt more than one or two Bolts u12s would even make the top MA team.

maybe, maybe not. but that's not the point. The point is many more will now flock to the Bolts- they will come in droves. why? because of the hope..

You really need to get a grip. This is just a gimmick, nobody is buying it.

Can GPS and NEFC still use the "ELITE" title now that DAP will be going u12.
Best u11 and U12 will be at Revs and 2nd best at Bolts.

Current RDS session 11-14 has more kids with NEFC jackets than any other club.

Club parents have no loyalty and they will flock to Bolt, Seacost and Revs like lost sheep .
GPS global marketing plan will fold since all states were these fools operate will have young DAP teams.

USSOCCER has finally smarten up and will let really clubs train kids not clubs that want to win at any cost !!!

There is going to be alot of second class rich soccer kids in Massachusetts

With this US Soccer announcement, NEFC is now legally obligated to drop the word "Elite" from any of their teams.

This does not seem like that huge a change. Bolts and Seacoast have had teams in these age groups for a long time. That they will have teams in young age groups labeled DAP moves a few kids around. That's not enough to affect the business of the nonDAP clubs.

sure it will. The sooner they get on the DAP "radar" the better..and the Bolts/Seacoast B and C teams will also be in high demand because those kids/parents want to make the DAP team.

The bolts and Seacoast players will have way more competition at tryouts.
Revs will have more RDS and RTC sessions. The clubs will loose money with their own Regional Training Schools. Kids will choose to go to the DAP teams training just so their kids can be seen.

This is a big deal , this is not a Spartan , GPS or another club announcement of how they are affiliating with some European club team where no one knows what it means to players.
Everyone knows what a u12 dap team means. You get on one of these teams and it a is a huge advantage over other kids to break into the u14, u16 and u18 teams.
If you kid is lucky enough to make Revs... 4x training and playing against the best in the east coast is like winning the lottery

What are the chances that a kid who makes a Bolts / Seacoast C team at U11 will have a shot a DAP? Slim to none is my guess. Could there be a kid who develops significantly and can make a jump ... sure... but that would be very rare. Hopefully parents would be able to see that and wouldn't go spending a ton of time / energy / money banking on a shot at DAP. At that point, it's almost pointless to stay at a DAP club to be honest. DAP clubs focus on DAP (obviously). Those clubs do everything with that in mind, which can actually be a negative for anyone who isn't DAP material but the next level down -- (i.e. A/B team at another club).

Revs RDS is already full. Current participants get first shot at the next session slots. If you aren't already in, you are already out. Sorry.

there may not be a "C" team - could be two B teams with players competing to make the DAP team. GPS can give hopes of that 1 in a trillion chance of being asked to join the Bayern academy and Bolts will focus on DAP.

Keep dreaming. If you want to see where kids 9-12 from the main MA soccer towns are training just stop by the Valeo center any night.
