I think the girls team in their own club could beat them. They are a good team for just being kids from just Braintree.

They are one of the best and picked to play in the Harvest Cup? See the description of the Harvest cup from the Harvest Cup website.......

"This tournament is best suited to competitive town travel teams, low-level MAPLE (Colors) or premier clubs only."

Mom and Dad may think these kids are world beaters but the coaches seem to know better.

Some jealous parents on the south shore - you have to remember this team are all from one town braintree so to do so well is fantastic

same group playing travel getting to MTOC and destroying brockton, weymouth etc has some people upset.

Doing well in a low division is nothing to brag about.

MTOC? How did you do in that tournament? I hope you won because really horrible soccer teams make MTOC. The worst D1 Maple team would crush the MTOC winner.

You'd do great in the US Senate with rhetoric like that.

Pick any D1 soccer team. Scrimmage them at your home field. Post the score so I can say "I told you so."

The division you play in is so far removed from D1 you have no frame of reference to go by. Playing in the Harvest Cup certainly didn't help with perspective. You are surrounded by lower level club teams on the South Shore. Try beating one of them first. Call Galway, Scorpions or Real Boston and see if you can hang with D2 teams.

So clearly this guy doesn't have an understanding of the club hierarchy. I don't know why everyone has to be such a dick about it. Not everyone knows everything about Mass club soccer.

Again its just a one town team that are killing bigger club second teams like Real Boston 13-0 and AC arlington 9-1

it does makes you wonder why anyone wold pay the money to play for a big club second team

Very good point. At U14 playing on a club's second team isn't productive, it's just for the exercise.

Thank god these kids are the future of Braintree High School soccer. It should make the road a lot easier for the other Bay State League teams.
