This is bizarre -- on the other post with the same message it says that the last time these two teams played (fall VW tournament) a mix of Bolts black and teal team lost 2-0 to the Blazers. I can't imagine a Blazers parent is posting this, but why would anyone? It's easily enough verified and who would care anyway?

Great club

Love this debate.
Firstly, MAPLE allow anyone to enter a team, there is no such rules or regulations to stop a team entering at the earlier age groups. there are "guidelines", and I am sure they never follow up on what they state in their by-laws.
Secondly, NEP have a better structure right now, just look at the mess U10 and U11 is this year in MAPLE. KI has clearly blindfolded her self and placed these teams in no particular order. There are 10+ goal differences in single games across the girls and boys divisions. NEP apparently had a so called "meeting" with all the DOC's to discuss placements for this spring and they look true to their their word.
Thirdly, when will MYSA realize that they do need to keep score at U10, not posted for the world to see but the league Director should know. This will keep the better players playing together and and get better. Surely that is what we are paying for!!!

Blazers in short are a poor mans Academy club, they will continue to play very well beneath the Development academy and send their top players to the Bolts or Revs.
Nothing will change for the next few years as the DA as well as the ECNL have a strong hold on the best clubs in the country.

HAs NEP done any sort of survey measuringteams preference NEP vs. Maple. Seems that some of the bigger club teams have their teams split between Maple and NEP. Some age groups the top teams are in Maple and other age groups vice versa...Just curious.
