There were more than 15 per age group Monday. That's just a lie. I was there.

The only age group that had good numbers was the U13. They had approximately 25 players. Other than the U13 girls the other groups had only between 10 to 15 players. Those are not good numbers for teams that need 18 players.

              WFF is dying, literally.
They lost their best players to TBU and their DA/ECNL Programs.
WFF are to blame for this. Terrible leadership and horrible decisions.

Instead of being competition for TBU they are now a feeder club for TBU.

This is all the fall out of the merger with Brandon, the eastlake campus has slowly been withering and has been the feeder club for Brandon (at least those that were willing to make the drive for the better teams/programs)

Tarpon will probably be the only club out of Rangers and West Pasco with a good 01/00 team. Small club so they don't have the NPL but excellent coach and trainers there. They won Region C this year.

Hopefully all this will be fixed, and soon. They had some good teams.
Yes they are staying to coach Rec and Tarsa at collier - Coaches like FC, NM, NR, CR etc cannot get hired anywhere else so there only options remains with either WFF for competitive teams or GTB for Rec and Tarsa

East Lake and Collier should have both broken away. It's really Brandon that F's that club. Let them have ECNL and whatever boys they can scrape up and the others can have NPL, FSPL, CDL, USA, etc....

Tarpon's 00/01 beat several FSPL and NPL teams last year. Club is small though. Not the big name that many people want. Not that size matters, but the Kool Aid is definitely sweeter at the big clubs for those that are thirsty.

as did Liverpool beating several CDL teams and doing well against some top teams in several premier level tournaments. It's a small well coached club that is growing.

O2s huge turn out and 01s about 30. Not sure all the current ECNL players were there for 01. Will be interesting to see if they left or just was not there. Sounded like that side already has the team signed up just looking for a surprise player or two. 02 where picking player right in front of everyone. Lot of u14 and u13 from the ECNL and pre ECNL. Looks like they took a couple from the FSPL 14 team and may have been some new players. Rest had to do the walk of shame. Very tough ending for some. Both ages for 02 have state cup games so may have been just getting them settled up.

WFF offered 14 2003 spots last night. There are a couple positions left to offer. Turnout was about 35-40 at that age group. Keeping 16 ECNL and 16-18 NPL, with about 4-6 dual rosters.
