Not from TBU, but I do know the rules, and there is no hiding behind anything here. It is US Club Soccer which does not have the anti-capitalism restrictions in place to prevent capitalistic movement of players, new clubs from forming, and all of the other ridiculous things that FYSA (by way of big clubs like TBU) have managed to impose on the kids and parents of Florida. in this respect, TBU is both taking advantage of the rules of one governing body while trying to hold onto their monopoly with another governing body. having their cake and eating it too, if you will. While i think the FYSA restrictions mentioned are total BS, and I am a pure capitalist, I don't see anything wrong with this when they are playing by the rules on the table. Just like our political system, if you don't like it, do something about it.

Tryouts are in May 2016. The ID clinics offered are not tryouts. It is for ECNL, FYSA tryouts will be in late May after SC.

Except for the small fact that if you are currently with an ECNL team you can't tryout for another ECNL team . So US Club soccer protects its own and restricts their players movement so really not any different from all the other guys out there .

Can't current ECNL players tryout after May 1? That's what the TBU website states.
