At least the grandpa played the game. The U15 Girls have an assistant who never played at any level. He even tells you he is a hockey guy.

That would be a great suggestion except that they don't tell you who will be coaching which team.

Go to the charger web site and call the coach in the age group you child plays. That would be the best place to start or reach out to the DOC about your situation

LOL exactly. Of course we are talking TBU parent here & they ain't be book learned real proper like - "Reading", among other things like "refraining from sideline coaching" are not some of the skill sets that come to mind when dealing with these clowns.

So if a great coach happens to have a daughter or son who plays soccer, what should he do? Choose a different team to coach? Send his child to another club? Just because the coach is a dad doesn't mean he's a bad coach or not capable. It's not like rec where dads are forced into it without any actual training or experience.

They have the regular tryouts at the end of may. You can get put on NPL roster from the regular teams. They did combine tampa and Clw players last season

Call the coach of age group you are interested in and talk to them

I am not sure what age group or sex, but it did not happen within our group.

Are they actually going to combine players from the various locations this year to form this team? I am not sure this happened last year. If not, then what are the tryouts for? Just looking for clarification. Thanks.

Since youth soccer clubs don't monitor TS, your legitimate questions should be forwarded to the email addresses of the DOCs on the Chargers SC website.

However, remembering how it worked at its USSDA tryouts of days gone by, and believing that some NPL teams had players from more than one Chargers location, it is my guess that a few excellent players will receive roster offers after the first tryout session and other very good players will not receive roster offers until all Chargers NPL tryouts sessions have been completed.

The CC DA program is in shambles because of poor leadership from Mannino and DiNoble...poor coaching from Garth and Roberto...they never make the playoffs and are always one of the worst DA teams in Florida by age group...Mannino and DiNoble are too old and don't know the modern game...and are in it solely for money...Garth and Roberto can't coach...just ask all the players that quit every year and go elsewhere...the program is a mess
