The AS Roma coaches were doing the training that night (a great training session that is) and JD was giving the coaches time to set up the field by bringing the boys Gatorades from the concession stand (hence the golf cart) and letting them know who the Roma coaches were and what they would experience that night at the fields. And, btw, AS Roma Academy's focus is absolutely on the girls as well as the boys. I guess you didn't know that Mia Hamm is on the Board of Directors of AS Roma and is thrilled with the new AS Roma USA Academy (with the 10 chosen US clubs). Here is her quote from the AS Roma site:
