More often then not, if you have watched rush consistently over the past years, they've always been about team play and not being individuals or pounding easy teams. They are a team that rises to the occasion and play there best against the best. I know of several of there players who someone with blind eyes like you wouldn't consider "superstars", transition to DA and do very well for themselves. If we we're watching the same game Nomads vs Rush, then it was easy to tell the lack of quality in Nomads but organization and the better team being Rush. Nomads had one real good opportunity, but let's not forget a dubious goal was disallowed because it apparently didn't cross the line (which it did) and the Rush striker fluffed some easy chances.

If I had to actually tell you the main dilemma with Rush right now, it is the fact that there defenders don't play out of the back consistently enough. The midfielder they added is quality and the winger from GTBFC are two good technical players, but if they don't play out of the back then they become useless, that's why right now Real Madrid is the better side. A lot more chemistry, a lot better style of play is the difference between RMA and Rush, but Rush does have a lot of potential. Nomads got a 0-0 result, let's leave it at that. Everyone's going to fluctuate throughout the season, there's no shame in DRAWING an improved Nomads side.
To say TOP TEAM, beat every team consistently with a 3 to 4 goal difference. Then you may earn the bragging rights. Until then, nomads are equal or far better than you all!

So explain the Nomads loss on 9/1 to San Carlos who was a Region Cup team last year?

Agree about the GTBFC winger. Without him, that team is falling apart this year.
People think there are no star players in Rush, they don't know about this winger yet!

I'm a Rush parent and to be fair, Rush was marginally better and only when the Nomad's coach started putting their subs in did we started to dominate. Nomads is a competitive team as long as you keep the first team on the pitch. But they have a very weak bench and that's what's holding them back now. That tall kid that was playing in the center of the field was very weak and clumsy, if that's all you have then you're in trouble. Rush has consistency on the pitch and on the bench and that makes the difference.

Nomads missed at least 3-4 golden opportunities early in the game. Granted Rush keeper made 1 quality save on one of those.

We can only see what will happen at the end of the season. This is only one game and really wont matter when March comes around. State Cup is what matters.

                    Are we talking about #9?

What is the number of the tall kid? Center Defender or Midfielder?

That would be #6, the tallest.

He was playing center mid it seemed but he missed every pass and looked awkward. I assume he's not a starter. I've seen them with better midfielders last year.

You guys should be talking about individual kids. It should be limited to teams.

Hate to put it all on one player, but the Rush #10 plays a strictly kick ball game. Looked like he was playing soccer golf with the other team's keeper.

He's skillful but just that at the moment. Rush's defense and midfield are what keep them competitive, need to improve up top if they ever look to beat teams, no consistent threat to beat teams which is why Nomads had an easy time defensively, no creative movement or pace up top.
