Neighbor says they paid $500 in fees for travel Baseball for 4-5 month(?) season.

My daughter did gymnastics a few yrs back and it was roughly $120ish for 12 weeks. came out to about $10/practice session which were only 45 min long once a week.

All the sports we tried, when you average the hours out that you spend with a coach, they all come out around $1000 per yr. more or less.

Our fees were $1200 this yr for U15 CDL. and $850ish for U11 CDL.
for U-15 CDL: how many sessions / week and how many total sessions / year did you get for $1200/-? It looks very reasonable if you received about 100 sessions of training, including SAQ. It is possible to get rates lower only with volume discounts. But some clubs charge higher and then cut-down on SAQ etc....

cost of training session which includes coaching fee, field rental, equipment etc= USD 125
      that results in 80 x 125 = 10,000

if you have 15 players per team:
      then 10,000/ 15 = $667

1400- 667= $733 covers DOC salary, Registrar and screen time to BS on TS.

If you have 3 sessions per week:
      120 x 125 = 15,000
      15,000/ 15 = 1000 per player
If there are 18 players, that is added bonus to the club and taking crap from parents because of playing time issues.

If the team shows 20 players, then, DOC is full of greed- run-away asap.

Un forunately: we have financial wizards taking over soccer business who market it as One Family/One Goal/One Club or LSP as long as they are in charge. Then they can make tons of $$$$$$
One thing about the 20 players on a roster comment. In high school, you need 20, because of the added high school games, college tours and SAT/ACT test dates. The extra high school games mean more injuries. It basically translates to 18 players for U13-14.
