so if this was a showcase and no one cares about the score, what were you showcasing , how bad your top U-15 team is? Please explain what this team would have been playing for then? To showcase themselves for what? That they will be horrible next spring and a bunch of parents wasted a lot of money, that is what they were showcasing

Showcases are a different animal from a normal tournament. The should be to be seen not to actually win. If you have a coach who is putting more energy into winning at one than in showcasing ALL of the players who made the trip then you are with a loser of a coach.

I wasn't there, as many wern't due to vacations and other commitments. This was a showcase, no one cares about the score. Except you.

You should demand a full investigation on the passcard issue.

GPS coaches came on here last year saying how they had to pull a bunch of players together to play their own Summer Slam tournament when they got beat by small clubs or town teams. Funny, that the town teams also had to pull players together and did not have access to a "global network of elite players" but still beat the GPS teams.

The showcase is to make GPS money so they can bring in some more kids from other states.
The summer showcase is as useless as t!^s on a bull.

It is a summer showcase tournament. Just looked up the teams playing. Rush beat GPS U15 NPL team 1-0 and Synergy U15 5-0 but you forgot to mention that they lost to the Boston Breakers U13 ECNL team 3-1.

There was lots of hooting and howling at the girls games and the boys games were rather sedate with fierce play on the pitch. such a huge difference between boys and girls games it really is sad and pathetic. the boys games are all about the players and the girls games are usually all about the drama which is driven by the parents. Trust me after college most of these kids will care very little about soccer except perhaps to play in a league with friends. Try watching the games like the boys parents and your kids will respect you more for it.

That guy is probably a parent whose daughter plays for the lowly Rush club out of Winchester and is hanging on every single win. Poor guy, I feel for you. NE Rush is a colossal waste of time and money. So many players have moved on after just a quick introduction to that mess of a small crappy club.
