Not the same thing as it takes to develop skilled confident players. The output from such a system is a bunch of players with August birthdays who kick the ball far with their toe, run, push, run and kick the ball with their toe again. In short, it produces high school soccer players. Leagues like MYSA and the incentives they generate are what development-minded clubs are running away from. US Club, by bringing together the nation's top clubs in ECNL with no concept of relegation, are able to merge quality coaching, strong player pipelines and a development philosophy without the burden of "winning now". This creates better players and ultimately better teams by the time kids are U17/18 (which is the real goal).
This is why Stars players > NEFC players. Also Scorp players > NEFC players.

If winning is such a "burden", the Breakers must be the most unburdened team of all time!

Because everything they do is overshadowed by the stench and oppressive dark cloud of BTDT. This club will really flourish and be a truly dominant force once he is out of their hair.

Pisspective - are you that crazy to think BTDT has any sort of power within NEFC? His daughter is a great soccer player and is heading off to college soon. The club is flourishing with him and they will flourish without him.

BTNT, try not to degrade yourself any further down towards Pathfinder's level. NEFC will flourish much more once you are gone. You singlehandedly have caused immeasurable damage to the NEFC reputation.

I agree. Their growth and revenue is stagnant. They have lost prestige and players. I am pretty sure they are going to have to merge with someone next year.

I heard they can't even get a couple of grand for their club. Their business is ruined
