Standings thru 9/17
Updating this because boston.com's table does not show ties. Very low scoring round of games on Tuesday = plenty of excitement as well. Weymouth moves up with their win, while Walpole and Natick move ahead of Wellesley in the smalls division.
W-l-t in league games, goal difference noted to break ties
Needham 4-0-1, +12
Braintree 4-0-1, +9
Framingham 3-0-1
Weymouth 3-2-0
Brookline 2-1-2
Walpole 2-1-2
Natick 2-2-1
Wellesley 2-3-0
Newton North 1-4-0
Norwood 0-3-2
Dedham 0-3-1
Milton 0-4-1
Braintree gets their first real tests now, facing Framingham and Needham in their next two.

Any team that Dedham and Norwood opt not to play received 2 points in the LEAGUE standings. I think it is only affected Framingham thus far. That puts them at 4-0-1 in the LEAGUE. The 2 points do not count for the tourney.

Needham 4-0 over Weymouth. Weymouth could not penetrate. Only opportunities on corner kicks. Needham has more depth than originally recognized.

The interesting thing will be to see which of the 6 teams immediately below Needham and Framingham make the tournament. All made it last year, but 3 of them narrowly.
