There probably aren't many spots left to fill.
So the DA slots will be filled by NPL players? Hmmm....

DA will be a disaster. Not nearly enough quality players for both ECNL and DA in this area. I know of many BBA ECNL players who are planning on heading to Stars so they can still play HS. They all got a taste of ECNL showcase events this year and recognize it's all about exposure and there is plenty of it at ECNL and they can still play HS. The DA pitch is falling on deaf ears over at Breakers/NEFC.

If you play club you do not play for your HS team and you play year round regardless if you are a DAP kid or not. Also the town teams play in the club league so club and town teams actually play each other and compete in all the same tournaments. There is no playing both town and club or HS and Club.
If you read commitment announcements, your NY story doesn't fly, at least at the ECNL level.

Um you do realize the 2004 NEFC NPL team is the top team. There is no ECNL at U13. But go ahead ahead and keep trying to run your agenda without facts.

Even if girls could do both high school and DA how would that even work?
If DA practices 3-4 times a week and high school is usually on a 6 day cycle with 2 games each week where is time for a player to get their school work done? Also depending on where the player is coming from travel time to and from every thing adds up. If DA is trying to do the right thing they wouldn't even allow players to play high school waiver or not. Would seem more risk of player injuries and fatigue.

Not the right age groups. US soccer should have started with U12 program. You are more influential at this age and you create a better understand for the program. Having a U19 age group is a waste time.

Don't forget that U16/17 and U18/19 are combined age group teams for DA. There will be less spots for players coming from single age group teams.

they get a pass from training for those three months, they would not be doing both

If you read about the program that is exactly what they say, they would not want to risk over use or injury so they will not participate in DA during their HS Season for training...they will need to be available for some events though which they would need to be dismissed from their HS training or possibly a game.

This is why the waivers will only go to players that can be excused by a HS Coach and no MIAA coach will allow it, that is why the Private School kids will be the only ones getting the waivers.

And what is going to happen to Stars players that want to play HS and ECNL? Be replaced with BBA kids? So you are saying that BBA players are all better than stars? Ok , you are right.

Stars is not allowing DA players to play HS. No passes are being issued. What I do know is that for age groups under 2002, the top players have chosen DA.

This is not wrong. DA will be the stronger team at Stars for the younger ages.
