If two different clubs have tryouts at different times and the hood is not released from their existing clubs until the end of May.. can a parent make a choice? Or once you register into a team and pay a deposit you can't change your mind ( until end of May)?

If moving between 2 FYSA (or US Clubs), you should ask the gaining club what to do. It is in their best interest to follow the league rules to avoid any sanctions being requested by the losing club.

Don't commit to more than one club

FYSA has completely jacked up the system - I hope the paid positions there get replaced with the next election.

You are bound to your current club till June 10th. You can only play for another FYSA club or sign with another FYSA club if you get released before then, and also pay the penalty if your club has one.

If it is your first year and you register with a club I believe you still have until June 10th to change your mind and go with another club. Keeping in mind that anything that you have already paid might be forfeit as part of the registration contract or whatever penalty for that they have written in. But as I understand it they can't force you to commit to them if you inform them before the Jun 10 deadline.
