And yes, people including former players have plenty of negative things to say about him.

JB isn't the reason Aztec has problems. It's the other dickhead that created the toxic environment.

It is a very good school. Not a great one. It's a school that has become very attractive for kids of PC, BC, HC alums that decided $60k per year was insane when academically St. A's is as good if not better against those three and more reasonable in price. The soccer program at St. A's is a disaster and has been for the last 5-7 years both for the girls and boys. This falls at the steps of the St. A's President and the revolving athletic director door. The President spent way too much time trying to get Hillary elected and he is not well liked by the students. If they get there act together they could certainly be a very solid program but doubt they will.

Specifically on the boys side, they were decimated a few years back. No money for them at all, football took it all away. Players having to rent their own vans for away games, for example.

An alumn came in to help right the ship, but was always going to be up against it as it was a part-time job. Finally, real life took over and he had to step away.

I have hopes now that BV is in charge. Excellent coach with a good reputation around, hoping in time it will turn the corner for them.

Not saying he created the problems with Aztec but he has done nothing to help it. Look at the retention he had from his teams last year. Most left and few, if any, have anything positive to say about their time with him as a coach.
