Why does SSS have players put tape on their jerseys to change #'s? Do they just stack teams to win certain tournaments or games? So do the lesser talented players lose playing time to the ringers that are brought in?

Each league is different from a dual rostering perspective. State Cup is clearly single roster so if someone noticed it tell your coach otherwise stop complaining.

"There isn't a serious developer of soccer talent who would endorse a player playing in two games in one day."
That's an interesting take considering NEP/NEC has all its U9 & U10 teams play two games every other weekend. Guess those U littles are all screwed.

What they should be doing with a young talent is picking the most challenging game of the day for them to play in and leave it at that. What it sounds like they are doing instead is propping up her age based team so it stays somewhat relevant and then spotting her some time with another team. Her parents should probably realize that their daughter only has so many miles on her legs and if they burn through them while she is in middle school the end result will likely be a string of injuries once she gets to high school.
Mins a day at camp. I hope this guy can talk some sense into them.
