Did they go out to the west coast and play? No.
ACC starts. Hold your apples. May need to make applesauce.
Hahahaha true. They should be touting those awesome lockers. Some of our public schools use trailers like them to teach the kids that don't learn too good.

Sorry; they are the Derek Zoolander "center for kids who can't read good and who wanna learn to do other stuff good too." Top of the line they are.

Last year a win by 1 goal (2-1) and this year a loss by 1 goal (5-4). No PK's this time.

            Watched 2nd half.
Not even close, though kudos to BC for opportunistic play.
7 FC Stars on roster show they are not even close to top players...

Opportunistic play and hustle will only take a program so far. Talent is the driving force. When you see a game like that you really should to flip the starters around and ask how many of them would be starting or even playing for the other team. Is there a single player on the field for BC that would beat out their counterpart at FSU? The $10M question for BC then is what can they do about that. Until they start recruiting on the same level as FSU they are going to drop further and further down the rankings.

Its not just FSU tho. They recruit a lot of internationals. In the ACC, UNC,UVA,Duke, FSU are all more attractive than BC soccer wise. ..Schools like Clemson VTech are competing for talent with BC and are arguably better coached. The BC advantage is its local Club scene, but the better players usually have options. BC will always be OK, but i dont see them being consistently near the top. Too much competition for players.

How many of BC's starters would be starting for even Clemson or VA Tech? BC is losing the recruiting battle but the dumb parents around here don't realize it because their kids are out on the field in a program that is quickly deteriorating and losing ground relative to the other programs in their conference.

And at the end of the day no one cares.
BC has this issue in every sport.
It's questionable whether they should even be in a P5.

That's the problem, the local club scene isn't great anymore. The other ACC rosters are filled with kids from other better club programs. They don't just recruit locally.

Aha, a true B&Cer....Bioching and Complaining. You can't complain about being in ACC/P5 and use it as part of your recruiting process...look at me, I'm in P5/ACC. Accept it, work within it or move out of it. Be the next UCONN, go Big East. Football wouldn't like it, but Basketball would.

Right. National level players rarely have BC a a top choice.

BC has had a few recently, including SC, and did get a few local ones this year which have made an immediate impact, but you have to bring in other good players to help carry the load.

SC? Sure seems to have found the going much harder when you actually play some decent schools. Three game losing streak and she has been a non factor. The fact that she chose to leave underlines the point. Lets relax a bit on the new ones until we play a few conference games.

Duke is in the top 10 and they have 3 local kids on the roster. Two who are starting.
