My kid is really excited to travel to other states, face excellent competition, and new teams.

Envious haters: By all means, please stay in your own league, play the same teams over and over again. Play the same team that's a comfortable 30 - 45 min drive away year-after-year in the fall and spring.

At least with all that driving you will be doing your part to help keep New England warmer!

what does your kid play in? NPL? ECNL? So you drive 2-2.5 hrs away? thats not crazy but since its only 2.5 hrs away and not 3 hrs away, you're all up in arms and everyone else but you are crazy. The only people that should be saying this are parents from CCSL, CJSA, Travel or Rec. Everyone else should shut the F up.

Too funny. Clearly you're new to it all. Check back in the spring when it's gotten more than old. Make sure to fire up the balance on your Easy Pass too.

There is no need for all this travel and not that long ago virtually none of it was going on. Too many leagues make it possible for everyone to avoid playing each other.

The issue isn’t the leagues or even the travel. It’s the fact that these are in many cases 6th graders.

New parents want the perceived “elite” teams and clubs are happy to sell you the product. Anyone who has been through this knows that 50% of the players on these u12 teams will not be on the rosters at u16. Club will churn the rosters and bring in better players from the outside

An unathletic Dad and short fat Mom aren’t going to have a D1 player regardless of how many trips they make on the LIE or Mass Pike.

It’s a waste at this age

Who the living hell are you to rain on our parade of happiness for your momentary moment of dark satisfaction. And I care as much about your kid going to a D1 school as I do listening to you validate your wisdom with it.

As a parent, I'm excited to be a spectator in this potentially awesome league
As a child, my daughter is super pumped for the season ahead
As a club, they are very proud to have put this together (no additional costs)
As a a child of God - if you don't have something nice to say, or constructive, please don't say anything at all. That said, we all know you lack that as you rationalize your point of view, spew your own agenda, and spread your negativity to all that would entertain it, even for a second.
You are our ideal customer. If your daughter has siblings that are interested or even like minded friends, please have them sign up. The tryouts are a formality. Just bring a check and and an ability to sell some raffle tickets

                            New League

What the heck is everyone going on about? This league looks like it has amazing potential. Of course nobody knows how it will all pan out, but it looks amazing and isn't over bearing in terms of the amount of games, so teams that are participating can set up all sorts of complimentary development activities.

                            Right on.... looks really promising!

Well done to the clubs that ARE TRYING.

It will change again next year. It's become a joke how often new leagues come and go.
