Ideal League Structure for NH

Honestly, the NHSL & NNESL leagues both cater to town travel level teams. At that level, most teams in either league can find good competition for eight games a season. It's not a big deal to have two different leagues, clubs can choose which one they prefer, or have an option to switch if they aren't happy where they are (competition is good for consumers).

The lower depths of NEP also cater to 'town travel teams' (often with a GPS or SU badge slapped on them).

I disagree that competition is always good for consumers. Both NHSL and NNESL have been combining age groups to make divisions. Considering US Soccer mandated birth year age groups to "lessen the relative age effect", then leagues combining age groups can only be increasing the "relative age effect".
