Another fact is that most on the US WNT participated in ODP. So they didn't just play in their local leagues and/or high school, they were identified through ODP. And ODP has been in existence longer than ECNL and GDA. In it's time, it was the premiere place to play for recruiting for college and YNT's.

At the end of the day it’s a business decision
Do the women produce more or less revenue- the Size of the pie is the driver of pay just like any business, and make no mistake, this is the business side of this argument.
Actually the women take home a bigger slice of their pie than the men based on the percentages ( the men could start bitching that they are underpaid)
