Scorpions should be much lower who have they beaten to that high. They barely got by NEFC NPL and lost to GPS this past weekend. You expected the loss to SSS but please you have to beat a top 5 team to be that close to the top 5. Same with Stars Blue somehow they are 3rd for just playing and not beating good teams. FCUSA has a better claim to the #6 spot. Sorry you don't just get sympathy rankings for being ECNL. Pre-Da had a much better showing clearly and ECNL teams are not top ECNL.

Easy FCUSA dad, Scorpions was right there with all the true top teams this weekend and dominated the NEFC NPL team. 6th is probably right for them and they can easily be in the top 5 in the age group after playing together for more than a half season.

Scorpions team has been together since August. Select & NEFC teams have been together for years. Rank the teams however you want if it makes you feel important in some weird way.

Anyone who is ranking girls 2007 teams needs to post which team their kid plays for. Otherwise it is just completely biased.

Other than NEFC, who have separated themselves, Select, Scorpions, Stars, Aztec, GPS & SOL are all close to interchangeable. Put those six teams in a bracket, play the tournament five times and you’d probably get 3-4 different winners.

That’ll change over the next year or two, as the talent migrates to DA & ECNL.

Anyone who is ranking girls 2007 teams needs to post which team their kid plays for. Otherwise it is just completely biased.

The reason for this whole thread is for people to justify their decisions. Going all in with the choice they think will take their daughters to the National team or D1. Based on what you said above the best for all these teams is to play each other in league play and go away for tournaments to see other competition.

Sorry, being dense, but do you mean the score was 0-0 at the end of regulation which would mean that NEFC won the tournament without actually scoring a goal in the run of play!

Stars (White) for now but can't say it will last. Middle school girl losing her weekends not going over well. Trying to keep her going but she wants to go play with friends until High School.

Sss played nefc 3 times this season with zero wins. Pks and close scores and whatever other excuses they want to make...they win zeros times even with nefc having 2008 players this weekend in place of some starters. Those girls know how to win.

Why are you trying to keep her going?

1. I just think make a commitment and stick with it.
2. If she starts for White she has a chance with Blue.


Her
1. Wants to have fun and spend time outside of soccer with friends (some from her team).
2. She's more introspective than me and said the Blue team isn't taking any of us so what's the point.
