The DA website shows the BS U19 team roster with 12 players. It also shows them playing no MLS teams for the entire year. They play Bolts and Seacoast three times each during the year?
Is this accurate? Is this what DA has become?

Second class citizens now. Read the announcement on the USSDA home page , this will roll out to younger groups next year as well, guaranteed.

OW and BS also have the pleasure of playing each other 3 times. OW also gets to play Seacoast and Bolts FOUR times!

IMHO, MLS and USL should start their own pro-sponsored academy league. The rest of the clubs, the vast majority of which are pay-to-play, should join the ECNL or another national league and focus on getting the kids to college.
Most USSF scouting should focus on the pro-academy league for YNT players - as that is where most all of the top talent will reside.

Originally posted by Unregistered View Postit effectively has rolled out to the other ages. U15 and U17 now has a "DA Cup" that groups MLS teams together and the fall season is effectively the group stage (e.g. NYCFC plays 8 of 11 games in Fall against "group" which consists of 6 MLS DA teams plus the other couple tier 1 non-MLS DA). Then if you're a DA team you advance to a Winter Cup (instead of the Winter Showcase, that's for the loser non-MLS DA teams) with a final Cup Winners Cup in the Spring. It's pretty shocking to see the naked power grab by MLS of the USSF.
