They aren't posting because they made a mess out of things yet again. Weeks ago during tbu's tryouts they sent out emails stating that all players were to mandatory attend age id sessions the same two weeks the other clubs were holding their tryouts. Indicating that not doing so would possibly affect their status during tryouts. Then just a few days ago they send out email telling everyone they have decided to play all of their competitive teams up a year (meaning 12 will play 14, 14 play 16...ect). Obviously they are short of #'s, knew that long ago and played games in order to keep the players they had from maybe going elsewhere.
I did not see that email and do not think that is true.
I do think its in poor taste that the entire club did not have uniforms except for the president's childs team and the club admin's team.
Most likely just a rumor. This is a good relationship for Chargers. It generates extra scouting opportunities for DA/NPL and gives them a "Tampa" Chargers team for age groups in which New Tampa Chargers have no teams. From a marketing angle, they can claim a campus or affiliation in more areas around the Tampa Bay Area. Why would they not keep this arrangement?

Because the Chargers have a new arrangement with PCU, which has more talent & is larger than FH.

Good point... Marketing only. No real quality players coming to Charger teams from FH. Charger JD needs the numbers and FH JD needs something to offer.
Just because Chargers signed an agreement with PCU does not mean they need to end an affiliation with another club. They are much better served growing their total number of affiliations.
The Hawks/Chargers affiliation has produced quality players moving to Clearwater at both DA and NPL levels. The affiliation has worked as intended (at least from the viewpoint of CLWR).
Death blow to the club if that is true. FH has to now be kicking itself for letting that Dynamo merger fall through.
The queen screwed the age group two years ago. Has not been competitive in 03 since the MG debacle. Fleecing the parents by calling that competitive soccer the last two years.
At the WFF tryouts a lot of FH kids were there. Was surprise. Not at the FH kids coming to WFF, but just the amount that came for Cdl tryouts. Usually a lot are at ECNL npl tryouts and go back to FH when they don't make it. Now I hear some of the stories going on over at FH and what a wasted opportunity for FH. All the negative WFF talk, FH had a chance to make something for themselves. Club soccer in this neck of the woods is a mess. The number of kids going to TBU from the FH area (from both WFF and FH clubs ) is insane and sad.
TBU had 72 boys at tryouts for 04 on Monday compared to 20 for WFF and 14 for FH. They will only fill teams if parents don't want to be on the 3rd or 4th team at TBU.
