Have you team sign up for an EDP tournament, travel somewhere south of Atlantic City, stay in a hotel about 30-50 miles from the fields and win more got soccer points.
Alternatively, go to the beach as it is the last chance to get a quick vacation in before your child's education goes into full swing.

This advice has intelligence. The issue with Labor Day tournaments and many clubs is that most clubs have not had more than 2 or 4 practices. Unless your coach is truly using the tournament as practice (which would be intelligent) then why play in one, especially one that you have to travel a long distance and stay overnight for.
Some clubs (GPS and Valeo for example) are practicing throughout the summer and Labor Tournaments may make more sense.

Don't know where you're looking but some teams have done this one in Farmington CT in the past - mix of travel and lower level premier teams. Well run, decent fields
