New season, new opportunity though.
I'll give St. Johns top 5 kudos but not top 3.

not even close to being best of 2017 - team has 2 starters ahead of him in the position - strange post must be a relative

Sorry the coach played his son so much over the years there is no one to backfill him.

In D1 Shrewsbury lost the most players in 90% of the entire team.

When it comes to production ( scoring and assists) Algonquin lost 90% of that.

Algonquin goes 10-5-3 more of a repeat of 2013

So what leads you to say they will win it all?

GD, Leominster, Hudson, Wachusett bring back many players, some impact. As previously stated Shrewsbury and Algonquin lost either a team or scoring. Algonquin will fair better than Shrewsbury regarding replacing players.

Marlborough, SH, and Westborough not sure what they have.

City schools you just don't know what they will have regarding players. City schools have wave of players coming and going each year.

Saint Johns will have a decent team but according to many GK is a very big problem for them this year.

Central Mass repeatedly has come down to Algonquin, Wachusett and Saint John's. I remember reading in the T&G that those schools have over 80% of the district titles and many more runner ups.

Appears Saint Johns has dropped off the last 5 years. Recent results have been Algonquin and Wachusett as Central Mass leaders in past 5 years, Algonquin more so.

Leominster and Marlborough are the consistent second tier schools who can and have won district titles or been to district finals.

GD bounces back and forth between D1 and D2. Successful in D2 average in D1

other schools are outsiders that may have 1-2 good years but then drop off like city schools, SH, Hudson, Shrewsbury and Westborough.

                            Other schools are non factors

More or less correct. St. John's hasn't been much of a factor since winning it all in 2007. Generally it's been Gonk and Wachusett in that order. Every year there's another player - last year Shrewsbury, two years ago it was Westborough. Shepherd Hill is a recent convert to D1 (last year) and GD is as well (2 years ago when D2 was eliminated in Central and Western MA). North is sometimes a player, but again - how competitive they are can vary widely. St. John's will be in the mix the next two years.

I like Westboro, I think they have a lot of depth and leadership
