Over the past few seasons 12 players from Bolts have gone to NU and PC. And several of your other teams are transfers from NU. The teams above likely have 1 player each. When the Bolts bus leaves, it goes to those two schools.

I heard juniors are committed to Duke and Harvard. Not true?

Also true about Harvard, but people are smart not to list commitments here. Bolts will be fine.

Every dap and top elite team has one or two commits to top d1 schools. No surprises there.
This is individual talent. Bolts count on these players to lure in other players who they don't care to truly develop.

The majority of the academy teams - revs, bolts, and seacoast - plays in college, but you keep telling yourself it ain't so. You seem to need to.

Not much playing time for a lot of the players, and many not on the roster for very long.

Not too surprised by the MK soccer whore reference when a coach misses 75% of his fall practices and then has the gall to blame the team for their poor performance ...and those multiple personal email reminders to the team about his camps where he gets 80% of the profit.
bolts parent here- this is true but nothing we can do about it. My son wants to play in college and we feel this is his only chance. make lemonade.

Because you track all the players and all the colleges. Please. If you don't think academy is valuable, then stick with club, but kids of friends on u16 and u18 have way more opportunities to play. It's not even close.

Absurd. It isn't his only chance. Don't drink the koolaid. Have him play on a top team that does a lot of showcase tourneys. It will take more effort (more id camps, more work to get coaches to watch, more video sent to coaches) but you don't have to play DA to play in college.

That's been our experience too. If you look at any roster, the kids are coming out of academy or strong clubs in sunny states.

actually no but there is someone who did and posted all the data recently. you'll need to search TS for it or maybe someone can post a link. he (or she) looked at multiple years and post all the data. It confirmed that most players don't get much playing time and many are not on the roster for very long.

Top private schools with strong soccer programs, too, but the credit there goes to the schools and not the clubs. Academy certainly makes it easier.

actually this is not necessarily true. many rosters are composed mainly of four year varsity HS (many from prep schools who do club in the spring)
