Marco Koolman, AKA the soccer whore is taking over bolts DAP u16 from Dan colwell next year. Team and parents are very excited because he is the bomb. If you think DC is arrogant this guy can walk circles around DC- but it's all about the almighty buck for this character. He will make sure every player attends his Holy Cross soccer camp in July if they want any chance of getting serious playing time. Received 6 reminder emails from Holy cross, 3 from him personally to attend the camp. Keep drinking the kool (man) aid bolts parents! He is taking it all the way to the bank- you can count on that!

First, the thread starts with the Bolts DAP at the bottom....then when it is pointed out that they have done well in their last 7 starts, the poster dismisses any coaching, but credits the performance with players returning from waivers....now it is even more clear that the OP/Poster is a 'Bitter Man' whose son must have gotten cut perhaps due to some influence from DC or MK.

I got it. Now go away.
Take your kid elsewhere if you don't like this club.

Different posters dope. Bolts suck period. Coaches like DC and MK should stick to their day job . he has a lot of work to do there . It's not like HC is doing well. Not too surprised by the MK soccer whore reference when a coach misses 75% of his fall practices and then has the gall to blame the team for their poor performance ...and those multiple personal email reminders to the team about his camps where he gets 80% of the profit.

Oh and my kid made the team. I'm stuck with this sucky club since my son really wants dap soccer. Maybe by posting this MK will show up to most of his practices in the fall - wishful thinking perhaps.

Another 6 figures from his camps and another 6 figures as bolts DOC . Not a bad deal. Wait he can't do two full time jobs and do well in both of them? Of course not- that's why he needs to keep Bs'ing the families and maintain a holier than thou persona.

Sounds like a fun atmosphere to place your kid in for countless hours.

Seriously? I have never heard one good word spoken about the Revs coaches. Know several kids that have and do play for the Revs. They are infamous for playing favorites. And talk about pompous and lack of coaching. Where would you have kids play if that want to play DAP?

As someone whose kid has done all this you folks don't get this. If you play Bolts, you are aiming at PC, HC, and Northeastern(oops, scratch the last one!). Go FC Blazers, and you're thinking BU. NEFC, and it's EK and BC. Revs and you are hoping for the home grown schtick(good luck with that!). So decide your school and put your $$ down. Forget all the development talk.

No one should expect a college coach to have time for a youth team, especially in the fall. One of the reasons ECNL has so many college coaches is the season fits better with their college commitments. 10 months doesn't work for most college coaches no matter how whore-ish they may be :)

They're all pretty bad. I guess if you can go for the free one so that you can afford private training on the side lol

From the 96 Bolts DAP team there is a BC player and a BU player.
                        Please explain.

no one from bolts on the Michigan and BC roster.
one player on average on the other rosters.
Most elite club teams (even north shore United!) have a standout player that makes lower d1 rosters . This means nothing. Bolts don't really develop. For the huge fees they charge they is little commitment by MK and others.
So where do the bolts players go - mostly d3 school bench players
