And shhhhhh, but the big secret is: No one gets cut. They really do try to give a spot to everyone.
So your little princess is probably assured to play DSP U little 11.
And then everyone can see your can team togetherness smile on the sideline and know who you are
I will be wearing the Salem Witch City Soccer shirt.

Max 2 teams per age group.
Yes. There are limitations. But 2nd yr of DSP tryouts and I can say that #s are always low.

Either people don't know about it or people don't want to give up their July weekends.

Either way, they are always looking for coaches. So if someone isn't happy, volunteer or don't complain.

From experience with 2 kids, DSP is very political, more so in some regions than others. When it comes to coaching who you know is more important that what you know. If you have an issue complain to MYSA. And as others have said, if you don't like it don't have your kid play.

if you will be wearing the salem t shirt then you play for that coach already. The depth of ire is a bit bizarre at this age level. Settle down...

Understood. However, a quick look at several regions shows coach openings in several age groups. Politics aside. I'd like to think they'd take a volunteer over not fielding a team.

DS is hit or miss year to year. My kid had a great yr last yr. Great coach and players. Having watched tryouts, this yr the team will likely be less competitive. Only 1/2 the kids from last yr are back. Still a great coach and my son will have fun regardless bc it's soccer.

However U15 girls coach "Lisa Roy" is parent of U14 player.
                New revamped system this year.
Why would anyone want Lisa Roy as a coach. All she does is yap! Stay away from that Crazy Bitch. Obvious she is coaching up to drag her daughter along. Another case of a coach trying to make a child something they are not.

District 6 has already had a tryout as has another district. Don't remember which.

Tryouts are set by each district individually.

You can access al DS information (including tryouts) on the MYSA DS page.

She has an assistant that cant keep her yap shut either. They are both crazy. Saw a game last year involving her assistant and the bald guy from DIS going at a young Ref. Police were called but by the time the PD got to the field they had both split. Anyway a couple of crazy bitches for sure.

Maybe everyone going to district 5 tryouts could thank Lisa Roy for coaching 2 teams both up 1 year than her kids age.

Ok. Thank her for what volunteering to Coach...OK great job thanks for Coaching two team.....Still does not make her any better than a U-10 Town Intramural Coach. She is ill mannered and she projects that on to every player that plays for her.
