U13 to U16 DSP Teams shall be limited to 20 players.
U17 and U19 DSP Teams shall be limited to 22 players.
Max 2 teams per age group.
Either people don't know about it or people don't want to give up their July weekends.
Either way, they are always looking for coaches. So if someone isn't happy, volunteer or don't complain.

if you will be wearing the salem t shirt then you play for that coach already. The depth of ire is a bit bizarre at this age level. Settle down...

DS is hit or miss year to year. My kid had a great yr last yr. Great coach and players. Having watched tryouts, this yr the team will likely be less competitive. Only 1/2 the kids from last yr are back. Still a great coach and my son will have fun regardless bc it's soccer.

However U15 girls coach "Lisa Roy" is parent of U14 player.
New revamped system this year.

And shhhhhh, but the big secret is: No one gets cut. They really do try to give a spot to everyone.
So your little princess is probably assured to play DSP U little 11.
And then everyone can see your can team togetherness smile on the sideline and know who you are

Maybe everyone going to district 5 tryouts could thank Lisa Roy for coaching 2 teams both up 1 year than her kids age.
