When the number 1 seed finishes 3rd it cannot be considered a successful season. There is no doubt that Stars has a bigger player pool and more talent than fcb. Fcb did more with lesser talent than stars. That would lead me to believe the coaching was the determining factor.

Was coaching the factor in your daughter's team's losses? You going to blame Nick for that?

Daughter not on that team but absolutely that was a failure by the coach. There is no double standard in my book. When the favored team fails a large portion of the blame has to go to the coaches.

How do you feel about this, coaches? Always your fault. One loss, and it's on you.

Comes with the job. If your going to accept the accolades when you championships and high level tournaments then you better accept the reality that you will be criticized when your team falls short.

Stars u15 win 3-0 over FCB in San Diego. JD mercifully ends Fred's season and saves Fred's parents from another soccer vacation in July. Congrats to Stars.

They need 2 wins against teams loaded with D1 commits in order to claim they are the "best in the country." No JV teams when you get this deep into the ECNL playoffs, ladies.

Interesting. If this was NEFC's success, there would be 11 new threads already.
