The new Pinecrest board is only a day old and they are already making huge strides. They are in talks with Sunrise to create a super club that will be awarded ECNL for the 2017 - 2018 season. Practices and games will be held at Amelia Earhart park in north Dade County. So much for the Weston powerhouse they thought they were going to have. Details to follow once things get finalized.

This has been Colin's goal for about a year now. He has spoken about the need for Sunrise to expand and I could not think of any better way of doing it than to merge with the top club in Miami Dade county. Amelia is a great facility that has recently undergone a multi million dollar upgrades. My understanding it will be upgraded even further once the merger is completed. This is a very exciting time for soccer in South Florida.Comment
