Florida Tropics take a HUGE step in the wrong direction by partnering w Lakeland FC

It does not make sense that the Tropics would want to be involved with such a cancerous club like Lakeland FC. It makes sense that Lakeland FC would want to partner with the Florida Tropics, a professional indoor soccer team right in the city your club plays in. So why did Lakeland FC wait so long? All the other clubs Winter Haven, Auburndale, Rowdies, etc. were quick to jump on board and be a part of a local professional indoor soccer team. Lakeland waited till now, about a year later. The reason why is that they are run by pompous *****holes that think they are better than everyone else. They belittle the other local clubs with criticism while the other clubs are steadily improving and getting better results than Lakeland FC.

We love what the Tropics are doing with their outreach and marketing, but partnering with Lakeland FC is a huge step backwards. Unless they let the Tropics take over and show them how to run an organization.

However, if your kid is over the age of 12, OC, FKK to the east & TBU, WFF to the west.

Anyone who thinks LFC misunderstood what U10 means is a fool.

This was NOT a mistake made by a half-baked volunteer. The LFC Registrar is a paid position.

And LFC has a clear financial incentive to to cheat the Rec tournament. Their pitch to parents to pay twice as much for Rec soccer at LFC (compared to other local clubs) is that LFC gives better training. Their proof of this claim is their annual results in the Rec tournament.

This is NOT the first time LFC has cheated at Judges Cup.

Anyone who knows the current leadership of Lakeland is not surprised that they would cheat a Rec tournament. They are the worst type of trophy hunters that exist anywhere.
