Just look at American Heritage Soccer team, which is basically Boca United Academy team. You would think they would be winning and killing every team every game. If they can't beat a bunch of high school teams how can they compete against other DA teams.

They are all 15 16 14 year olds playing against older kids but BU is a horrible club the few good ones leave and only the ones that can not make it on a A team else where stay. That is a fact !!!

So funny the comments on this thread really you people need a life ! The issue at BU is they build from the back and will not change that system ever! All other clubs and some DA teams long ball everything you can win games and maybe looked at as the team to beat. The amount of ball control and passing should be measured as well BU development is player development not team winning development ! Everyone knows this everyone who plays against BU lines up attacking deep putting pressure on back line to force an error. The players to watch is the back line for Boca United they develop under great pressure because of the playing style of Boca.

              Very well stated and true.
Training is excellent on the girls side (for the most part).

However, that does not excuse some of the other issues (noted previously) at the club that could easily be fixed.

Have you seen those goalies from Weston and Kendall? It's like 100% kick ball, they can't built from the back all they do is kick the ball all the way to the forwards and pray and hope maybe it has a good bounce to the forward advantage to score. Sad to say they do this over and over again. It works in lower divisions.

Look around the world, the ball is built from the back and up to the forward. That's why American football will continue to be **** because they can't built from the back and passing is lacking any real control.

Congratulations to BU for doing it right.

From a Orlando City parent who was shocked to see a south Florida team develop players the right way.

What are you drinking? What age at BU builds from the back? They don't have the skill to build from the back and possess the ball. The other DA teams build from the back and possess the ball almost the whole game when they play BU. Look at your results - it is not working? How many of your U-18 girls and boys players have committed to d1 programs? Take a lot at Orlando City. They have almost their whole team committed. Even IMG has multiple commits. Where are any of BU commits this season for U-17 or U-18?

There was a reason that the Boca United DA teams were matched up against the other weaker teams at DA Showcase at Lakewood Ranch. That was done purposely to try to match teams evenly between the DA teams at the bottom of the standings. Take a look for yourself the records of the out of state DA teams BU played. BU still struggled against the bottom DA teams around the country. Facts are facts.
