It's not worth playing unless there are 100+ D1 coaches lining the field! Why bother?

Even if there were a 100 D1 coaches, they are only looking at the 5 kids that have been continuously contacting them, starting at u 14 & are now u17 to close out their 2018 recruiting. Why bother --- for the other thousands of kids & yours that want to play in college.

Its worth playing for your kid. You spent money on club & your kid still didn't make starter on her high school team & wants to play in college. GPS is her best chance. Local schools for local kids.

I wish that were true. We recently had the hardest schedule, the longest break between games, and the most early starts of anyone else.

Didn't matter in the end, as the top team held out and deserved to win, but what you say is not true.

More non-GPS whining is all that is.

Agreed. To some extent the host can maneuver but GPS doesn't even try and disguise it because it's so obvious they bracket themselves with really weak teams.

Agreed, they should bracket with the strongest teams and get the best exposure. They put club interests ahead of player interests.
