No sorry, I do not share your opinion... and many othets do not. Who cares if a player is already committed to a school, or committs in the next few months. A committment or signed letter of intent is what many are working towards, and many will get.

And all 6 of those players are regretting their decision every day. They all went from playing good soccer against top competition to chasing bootballs over the heads of rec players.

What kind of kool aid does the Timbers force you clowns and lemmings to drink anyway?
Clearly you have not been to any of the Thorns Academy U17 and U19 games this fall as there have been D1 and D2 coaches at several games this fall from the PNW.

The girl from WPFC did not make the Florida roster.
Plus 2 of the FC 5 only got college offers once they went to the Thorns.

If ECNL teams play boys DA teams, that's "development". When the Thorns do it, that's "hiding".
Wouldn't that imply that the boys DA is better than ECNL, whereas the GDA is better than (or at least on par with) the boys DA? You don't "develop" much playing down, after all.
Of course, beyond the stupid insults that frequent this forum, age matters. At about U14 and up, an elite boys team will be better than an elite girls team at age, simply because of the biological differences between males and females. Below that, the two genders will be at parity--and the girls might even have a slight advantage due to earlier onset of puberty.

Then add D2, D3, NAIA, etc. I stand by my bet that verbal offers will be pouring in. Can't you be happy for Oregon girls?

Can't you just be happy for everyone? It is not about winning. These are just kids and the first question we should ask is did they have fun with their friends on a trip to the sunshine.
I have to add further that if you were the kid and all your parent cared about was wins, how would you feel? We need to get away from this winning is everything culture. A lot of kids will not win and there is still good in them. Stop zeroing in on the negative and instead consider cheering kids up.

I suppose the player who just committed to Utah after the Florida trip isn't really going there either in your world.
