    Sporting Tryouts

Sporting having tryouts this week and they did a great job. Super friendly coaches and staff, friendly girls from their present teams and pizza at the end for the girls. Know its not a big 3 club but fun and affordable for many families that just want to enjoy soccer with their kids without the pressures. Well done Sporting. And no need to bash a club just trying to do the right thing and not pretend to be something they are not

Great job could mean organized and on time, and good pizza, doesn't have to mean good soccer.

Of course not, we incorporate that into our drills. If you can successfully pass and receive on our fields, you're good enough to play.

Did having their mouths full of pizza prevent the parents from yelling 'boot it' or 'send it' like sporting parents are used to doing?

Are you trying out at OW again? You know, you only need to do that once a year.

FSA coaches actually don't bother watching. They chat and stuff, play on their phones some, but don't watch. Teams have been decided before tryouts. New players get C or B team placement based on, I dunno, the flip of a quarter at some Farmington bar?
